Allan Edwards founded Oklahoma Flight Academy to carry forward a family love of aviation rooted in his father, Gary Edwards — an aviation engineer and pilot.
He built OFA around a simple conviction: that almost anyone can learn to fly with the right instruction, the right aircraft, and a genuine respect for safety.
Director of Operations
Luke Edwards oversees day-to-day operations at Oklahoma Flight Academy — scheduling, aircraft readiness, and the details that keep training running smoothly.
His focus is making sure every student’s time at the field is spent flying, not waiting.
Chief Flight Instructor
Hayden Rush leads OFA’s instructional team. Originally from North Texas, he relocated to the Tulsa area to build a flight program grounded in clear standards and real-world judgment.
He sets the training bar every OFA instructor teaches to — precise, patient, and safety-first.

Chandler Warren is a Commercial-rated Certified Flight Instructor who guides students from their first Discovery Flight through checkride.
He limits his daily flight hours so he arrives to every lesson sharp and fully focused on his students.
